Reverse into your bay – mistake
Reverse into the bay to your left with mistake, video transcript:
Today we are going to do the reverse into the bay to your left. First what I am going to do is a bit of a spin, what we are going to do is we are actually going to intentionally get it wrong and then show you how you can correct this. Don’t panic, you’re not going to fail your test if you correct your manoeuvre.
So I am just going to get into position for it and you will see what I mean. So I am just going to reverse back towards the bay that I want, on your test you can pretty much take any bay you like – obviously make sure there’s no parked cars in there already. So I am just going to do this and going to pretend to do it wrong. So I am just going to look around, make sure there’s nobody coming, turn the wheel and stopping, looking around and trying to straighten it.
I’m just looking to see – ah I’ve got it wrong, so I’m right in the middle of two bays at the moment. So what I am going to do is not to panic, I’m going to stop, make sure it’s safe and there’s nobody coming. I’m going to pick which bay is the easiest to get into; I think the one on the left. So I am going to move forward pulling the wheel to the left, I’ll move forward as much as I can completely out of the bay. Get the car nice and straight and line up. I can see the white line on my mirrors, making sure it’s safe, looking around and then coming back very slowly. Make sure no one’s around, make sure there’s nobody coming and you just bring it back slowly and you can see we’re now in the middle of the two bays.
