Hi,  I passed my test on Friday 21/04 after 2 weeks of driving lessons with Paresh.  I have had lessons with previous instructors and always found it difficult to control a car never fully understanding how the controls work.  After the first lesson with Paresh, he immediately identified several bad habits and errors that were preventing me from learning how to drive.

One of the greatest difficulties I had in learning to drive was controlling the clutch; Paresh noticed the cause of this was not my lack of understanding but rather I positioned my seat too forward and therefore too close to the pedals, no other instructor had ever picked up on this before, and once this was corrected my confidence in learning how to drive vastly improved.  This was a testament to Paresh’s ability to subtly observe his student throughout the time spent together and identify hidden issues, he is then able to explain what is wrong in a way that is clear and understandable.  During my time with Paresh, it was also obvious to me that there is no one-size-fits-all teaching method with him; it is clear that Paresh takes the time to understand his student and crafts his teaching style to suit the specific way the person learns.  Prior to the 2 weeks, I wasn’t entirely sure I was going to pass but during the period with Paresh I was able to learn the most important skills such as observation and planning which I had always been told by instructors but until I met Paresh was never really taught.  Not only did I pass with only 5 minors but just before exiting the car after the exam the driving examiner also commented herself; “You must have a good instructor.”  I can’t really say I can disagree with her, I will look back fondly on the 2 weeks as not only did I learn to drive but had great fun doing so.  I would thoroughly recommend the student-centric, needs-focused lessons provided by Intensive courses; my instructor Paresh is without a doubt a gifted instructor that understands his pupil and is able to adapt his teaching to ensure both results and safer driving.  Regards,  Ameer

Thanks so much to Noel for organising all – with COVID putting a stop to everything and changing all plans quite a few times it was such a relief to be able to rely on Intensive courses to sort out the test booking time and time again. I have to give a HUGE thank you to Federico my instructor, as a somewhat nervous driver he put my mind at ease and made every lesson so enjoyable, he really is such a fab teacher and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He made sure I always felt confident behind the wheel and made sure I knew exactly what I was doing.
