Congratulations to Andre from London E3 on passing your practical test with the help of Paresh From Intensive Courses.
Hi, guys, I passed my practical driving test today with 3 minors. I wanted to express my gratitude to my instructor Mr Paresh Patel for his hard work in pushing me to get better. I had no previous experience in driving, never sat behind a wheel before, but Mr Patel got me there in just 34 hours. Excellent coach, highly recommend him. Best regards to all the Intensive Courses team.

Top 10 Tips for Learning in E3 – Mile End
Where is the best quietest place to start your lessons from?
Off old Ford Road, Fish Island, Wallis Road at the back of Hackney Wick. This route used to be called the chicken run, a great place to get the basics right.
What are the speed limits on the roads?
There are some 20 mph but most roads are 30 mph generally. The A12 is 40 mph in places going up to 50 mph as you head out towards Wanstead. There are some speed cameras in the area also to enforce the speed limit which is always a good thing and there are some faster roads on the outskirts of the town.
Are there many big or small roundabouts in my area?
Around Old Ford Road there is a medium roundabout and if heading towards the A12 from the A11 Bow Road there is a very large busy roundabout beside the MacDonald’s.
Are there any dual carriageways?
The A12 and parts of the A11 are duel carriageways.
What are the best times during the day to do your driving lessons?
As the roads are quite busy during the day it is a great place to get lots of practice driving. It’s best where possible to head in the opposite direction of the traffic, that way you will get a lot more driving done. When learning to drive it is always good to do lessons at different times of the day and mix it up a little, this gets you used to different scenarios.
Are there any busy/difficult/unusual junctions?
Around where the A11 and A12 meet, that roundabout is quite a difficult one. Watch out for the one way systems.
Are there any places to practice bay parking?
There are not many places to practice except in housing estates.
Which are my nearest theory test centres?
The nearest theory test centre is Mile End where the DVSA have 2 centres in the same building.
Where is my local practical test centre?
There are 4 DVSA practical test centres not to far away. Wanstead, Barking, Goodmayes and Chingford
Which is the easiest test centre to do your practical driving test in my area?
Most test centres are the same but Goodmayes seems to get book up early.
